The rate is never one number. A peer to peer board on one exchange can sit hundreds of taka away from another at the very same minute, and different markets can sit somewhere else again. That gap is the entire reason this page exists.
Buy is what you pay in taka for one USDT and sell is what you receive for one. Buy is always the higher of the two, and the difference between the best of each is the spread above. If you bought and sold straight back today, that gap is what the trip would have cost you.
The figure against official is how far the street has moved from what the currency feeds publish. On a quiet week it barely shifts. When it jumps, it usually jumps before anything appears in the news.
Peer to peer offers carry a minimum and a maximum, both shown under top offers and limits wherever the exchange publishes them. An excellent rate with a minimum far above what you are changing is not an excellent rate for you, and that is the most common way somebody wastes twenty minutes here.
